Message But Ive seen dynos where people have ran the same car at different ambient temperatures or where people have sprayed their intercoolers with CO2 or NO2. The one I remember in particular was someone on TT.net who gained ~100whp simply by spraying their intercoolers (cant remember if it was with NO2 or CO2) to cool them down. IIRC it was a total of just over 800whp.

When I saw dynos with people running the same setup at different ambient temps on different days, there wasnt anything close to a 100whp gain (~20whp on a good one). But there are so many variables it is really hard to tell if it was the air temp that made up most or all of the difference on the dyno sheets.

Also, I have seen on TV shows (I think it was horsepowerTV) where they did a build and were tweaking the motor here and there / Eventually, they were LOSING power from the motor being ran and getting hot. They let it sit and saw something like a 7bhp difference after they let it cool down.

Hope that helps :/
